Alexandre Moeri
I'm a consultant based in Switzerland. I work with people building digital products — helping them figure out what to build, getting things unstuck, and shipping what matters.
My approach is hands-on. I don't deliver slide decks and disappear. I embed in your context, understand the real constraints, and work alongside you until it ships.
Where I stand
Momentum over perfection
Most problems don't need more analysis. They need someone to make a call and move. Across every role I've had — developer, project lead, CTO, consultant — the pattern is the same: things get stuck because nobody decides. I'd rather make a good decision now than a perfect one never.
Tech decisions are business decisions
I don't build things for the sake of building them. Every architecture choice, every tool, every hire has a business consequence. I'm most useful when I can see both sides — translating between the people writing code and the people running the business.
Teams ship, not tools
You can have the best stack in the world and still ship nothing. What actually matters is whether the people doing the work can make decisions, have context, and aren't drowning in process. I've led teams across continents and coached makers — the human side is usually where it breaks.

2026 — present
Founder & Consultant — isk consult
Helping people ship digital products — strategy, architecture, team setup, and getting things across the line. Coaching makers through the hard decisions.
2022 — 2025
CTO & Co-Founder — Noury
Built a hybrid software team of 13 across Switzerland and Egypt. Developed the Noury mobile app (Best of Swiss Apps 2024), an internal ERP managing 100+ points of sale, and ML-based demand forecasting for fresh products.
2019 — 2022
Freelance Software Developer
Independent web and software development alongside university studies. E-commerce integrations, web applications, and technical consulting for small businesses and startups.
2018 — 2019
Co-Founder — Ceemyk (227 GmbH)
Co-founded a platform for Instagram photographers to sell prints of their work. Strong technical execution, but four developers with no go-to-market expertise. An early lesson in the gap between a good product and a successful business.
2013 — 2018
Developer → Project Lead → Innovation Lab — UBS
Started as an apprentice developer in core banking, moved into project leadership for a 40-person delivery unit, then prototyping at the Wealth Management Innovation Lab.
Education
BSc Computer Science — Bern University of Applied Sciences. Specialisation in Data Engineering. Management certificate. Thesis on ML/Reinforcement Learning. Final grade: 5.5/6.0.
Federal VET Diploma in IT (EFZ) — Technische Berufsschule Zürich. Top of class (6.0/6.0). 1st place, Swiss IT practical exams 2015.

Beyond work
I've been an exam expert for IT apprenticeships since 2016, member of RemoteCoders (connecting young IT professionals from disadvantaged backgrounds with Swiss companies), and mentor at Capacity Zurich, a startup incubator for migrants.
